The Story Behind the Shoot
Drawing from her vibrant Yoruba heritage and her life in Northern Nigeria, this project was born from a simple but powerful premise: every year lived is a milestone worthy of a masterpiece.
Visually, we aimed for a "Vintage Escape" aesthetic. The exterior shots leverage the warmth of natural light to mimic the grainy, soulful vibe of 80s and 90s beach house photography. Inside, we transitioned into a more controlled, chic atmosphere, manipulating light to create an intimate, high-fashion editorial feel. The result is a cinematic series that captures both the energy of the woman and the intentionality of her journey.
